Les Vision Chicken-rearing Project Harare , Zimbabwe Les Vision is an initiative started by University of Zimbabwe students in response to the culture of under-achievement, violence, prostitution, and drug abuse being perpetuated on university campuses countrywide, trends linked to the ailing Zimbabwean economy. Les Vision's chicken rearing project will be implemented by university students with advice from relevant specialists in agriculture and finance in the university. It is expected to start generating a profit by August 2007. The revolving fund that will be generated from this project will allow Les Vision to introduce programs on campus targeting the most disadvantaged students, including bursary funds for outstanding students and business forums. |
