Pole-Pole Foundation, Democratic Republic of Congo

The Rhodes Scholars' Southern Africa Forum (RSSAF) is a charitable organisation established by Rhodes Scholars at the University of Oxford over a decade ago. An entirely student-run organisation, RSSAF aims to draw upon the resources available in the Rhodes Community to support positive change in Southern Africa.

RSSAF aims to:
Increase awareness of the political, social and economic issues affecting sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular focus on Southern Africa;

Raise and distribute funds to support small-scale community development projects in the region; and

Stimulate discussion about the historical links between the Rhodes Scholarship and Southern Africa.
