Rhodes House is the headquarters of the Rhodes Scholarships and the Rhodes Trust, and offers facilities for educational and other purposes. The House was completed in 1928. It was designed by Sir Herbert Baker, who designed major public buildings in South Africa and collaborated with Sir Edwin Lutyens on the design of New Delhi.
Rhodes House and its garden are open to the public, but visitors are asked to identify themselves to the Porter at the main entrance. Rhodes House welcomes lectures, seminars, conferences, dinners and other events. For further information, see: www.rhodeshouseoxford.com. Click here for a virtual tour of Rhodes House.
